Hy Anzell

American actor (1923–2003)

Hy Anzell was an American actor, born in 1923, who had a notable career in film and theater. As a Yiddish-speaking actor, he brought a unique cultural perspective to his roles. One of his most notable performances was in the original off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors, where he originated the character of Mr. Mushnik, the flower shop owner.
