Michael Pollan

Michael Pollan is an American author and journalist, born in 1955. He has established himself as a prominent figure in the realm of food journalism, with a specialization in this area. Pollan's academic affiliations include a position as a professor at Harvard University, where he serves as the Lewis K. Chan Arts Lecturer. This role underscores his commitment to exploring the intersections of food, culture, and the environment.

In addition to his work at Harvard, Pollan holds the title of Knight Professor of Science and Environmental Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley. He also directs the Knight Program in Science and Environmental Journalism at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
