Teresa Sterne

Teresa Sterne was a renowned American concert pianist and record producer, born in 1927. Her musical career commenced at a young age, with her first major performance taking place at the age of twelve. During this early stage, she had the opportunity to perform with prestigious orchestras, including the NBC Symphony and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. This marked the beginning of a successful performance career that would eventually transition into other aspects of the music industry.

Following her time as a concert pianist, Sterne shifted her focus to the production side of music. She went on to become the director of Nonesuch Records, a position she held from 1965 to 1979.
