The Three Stooges

Trio americano de comédia

The Three Stooges were a renowned American comedy trio that entertained audiences with their unique brand of physical, farce, and slapstick humor. Active from 1922 to 1970, the group initially began in vaudeville before transitioning to film. Their most notable achievement was the production of 190 short-subject films with Columbia Pictures, which showcased their signature comedic style.

Throughout their nearly five-decade run, the trio underwent several lineup changes, with six different members contributing to the act at various points. However, two constants remained: Moe Howard, who was a part of the group from its inception in 1922 until its conclusion in 1970, and Larry Fine, who joined in 1925 and remained a staple until the end. Together, they formed the core of the group, with other members rotating in and out to complete the trio.
