He initially gained recognition for his lead role in the Nickelodeon action comedy series Supah Ninjas, which aired from 2011 to 2013. This debut marked the beginning of his acting journey, showcasing his talent in the entertainment sector.

Potter's versatility as an actor is evident in his voice acting roles, notably as Hiro Hamada in the animated superhero film Big Hero 6, released in 2014.
